With over 30years in the travel industry, we’ve been fortunate to have traveled the world. From many visits to New Zealand and the entire Pacific Rim, to jungle excursions in Central America, to safaris in South Africa, we have done it all. We can take you to those off-the-beaten path places most don’t know about, and can give you the experience of a lifetime.
Nancy startted her travel career over 30 years ago in a highly sophisticated and large travel agency in Little Rock, Arkansas called Poe Travel. After spending 8 years there as the manager of their international department, she traveled to Arizona, then Colorado, and then finally back to Tucson to start her own travel company in 1988. From those many years in the travel business has emerged a passion for her favorite places in the world. When asked for her “favorite” place, there’s not an easy answer. New Zealand in oh-so-many ways fits that bill, but she also loves Australia, Fiji, Belize, Costa Rica and South Africa, having traveled to all many times. She lived in Germany for 3 years and traveled extensively throughout Europe and goes back from time to time to renew her love for that part of the world as well. Nancy believes that travel is an adventure, meant to broaden your mind and your heart, and hopes all she helps with their travel arrangements comes back with renewed appreciation of the world we live in.
Nancy is also an avid rugby coach, supporter and fan, with the All Blacks being of particular interest. She started playing the game the same year she became involved in travel and now coaches and mentors the University of Arizona Women’s Rugby team and the Lightning Women’s Rugby team in Tucson, Arizona. Nancy was the founder of women’s rugby in Tucson in 1990 and the teams have continued to thrive and prosper. The University of Arizona team finished 6th in the entire nation in the 2007 collegiate championship playoffs.
Ashley, a Tucson native, began traveling in college with her first international trip to Brazil. Falling in love with the people, food, culture, and travel experience, she was hooked. During her senior year at the University of Arizona she studied in Orvieto, Italy where she was able to travel all over the country (and continent). Upon graduation she has been teaching middle school and high school Latin at a local school. Using her knowledge of students, travelling, and history, she has planned and escorted several group trips for students including Italy, Spain, Canada, and Washington D.C. She spends her spring breaks, summer breaks, and fall breaks travelling both nationally and internationally. When she’s not traveling she enjoys exploring the city of Tucson with her friends.
